yeah just put the amount of rice in the pan cover with water, then boil. once boiled stir, then let it simmer until the rice is cooked basicaly the same as white rice hehe

Use double the amount of water to rice i.e 2 cups water to 1 cup rice. Place water and rice in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Turn it down and simmer for 25 minutes or until all the water has evaporated. And there you have it, yummy rice.....try sprinkling soy sauce over cooked rice to bring out the flavour.

I have always been told to use a lot more water for brown rice because it doesn't cook as easily as white. I wish I had some directions for you! I think the water to rice ratio is 2:1.

At least twice as much water to rice and the biggie- It takes 45 minutes to properly cook brown rice. Not the sort of rice to cook when you are really hungry. Sorry :-(
