  • In the UK, it is illegal for anyone under 13 to work, after that age you could get a paper round or something like that. Why not do odd jobs for friends and family ? , wash thier cars and help in thier gardens and earn some pocket money that way :-)
  • I think a good way for a twelve year old girl to make money would be to feed some of her neighbor's pets or maybe walk some of the neighbors dogs when their on vacation. Twelve years old is probably too young to babysit and a girl probably wouldn't want to mow lawns.
  • Baby sit? Probably best days.
  • The conventional wisdom says, babysit. You could also find some elderly neighbors that need help with chores. There is nothing that says only boys can do gardening and lawn mowing. I sold greeting cards door-to-door and delivered papers. There are Realtors that pay young people to deliver fliers door-to-door every week. So many possibilities exist.
  • Around here, the best ways are probably babysitting, or taking care of peoples pets. The car washing thing sounds promising. Don't do what I did. I got a dishwashing job at 13, and I am still in the restauant business 25 years later;)
  • there is a girl in my condo complex that washes peoples garage doors for $5. Its one of those things where the association requires you have a clean garage door. they will give you warning notices if they are dirty. so, this girl goes door to door and will wash your garage door for $5. With 160 units in our building, she has a lot of opportunity.

  • I started babysitting at age 11. You should try it. There can be some good money in it. Just be very careful, and always meet the families with oour parents before you go to their houses.
  • 1. Babysit 2. Pet sit for neighbors or walk their dogs 3. Get a job cleaning a neighbors home or garage 4. Mow yards, rake leaves 5. Lemonade stand (with cookies or brownies, too) 6. Have a yard sale (for extra cash, have a lemonade stand there, too) 7. Find neighbors who want to have a yard sale but don't want to do the work. You help price & put things out and run the sale, then split the money with them. 8. Do errands for elderly neighbors (pick up their mail, run to a nearby grocery store for a few items, etc.)
  • You could try to get a job at a vet office walking/playing with dogs. Pet sit, babysit, help people clean their houses. You could also tudor younger kids after school.
