I don't think so at all. We already had a time where that happened, but it's more casualy known as the Dark Ages.

Religion and politics do not mix. Biblically there will be a time when God will rule with his Kingdom, but thats for him to bring about, not us. Jesus didn't get involved in politics and even refused the Kingship they offered him. If his intention was to have Christianity run the world, he would have taken the throne and gone from there.

I don't think the world should be ruled by any one body/institution, even a democratically elected one with an agreed upon constitution, let alone by a religious institution that furthers the concept of there being a right way to think and a wrong way and condemns all dissenters to the depths of hell. There are parts of the world where Christian ideas are accepted and practiced, and parts where other ideas dominate daily life; these other parts would not accept the rule of Christianity if one were to try and impose it on them, so the world would continue to have much the same shape as it does now even if there were an attempt to impose the world rule of Christianity (or should I say "another" attempt, to allow for the Crusades of the 12th/13th centuries, which, surprise surprise, the 'infidels' fought against and succeeded in preserving their way of life), so it is not only a stupid idea but an impractical one.

No. 100% absolutely not. Not everyone is a christian, and not everyone should be treated as such and forced to believe their rules. NO WAY, NO HOW.

I'm a very conservative born again Christian. I do NOT think the world should be under the rule of the Christian religion. God did NOT call us to take over the world! We're supposed to submit to our governments, pay taxes, live in the world. Not take over the government, and take over the world.

No, why force something onto people that dont believe it? The world, in general (atleast the AB world) is a free one and we are all free to argue the plusses of our beliefs and minuses of others beliefs. But to rule the world under a single religious rule is just WRONG!

No. Every person has the right to believe whatever they want to. Just because Christianity makes sense for someone doesn't mean it makes sense for everyone. People should learn to get along and respect other people's choices.

Which 'Christianity' are you speaking of? "Catholicism"? Older Papal history contains deception and murder...in the late 40's it has been proven they ran an 'underground railroad' for Nazi's into Argentina. "Protestant"? Its OK to kill 'Christian' Catholics because they worship Jesus different. O, yea..Its OK for "Catholics" to kill "Protestants", back! [see Ireland] "KuKluxKlan", If your 'white'... you live good..if not..if you live, put on an apron. "Black Panthers"..fed up with a 'white' God giving supremacy to 'whitey'. "Jehovah's Witnesses"...all races equal, don't steal, hate violence, faithful to their mates. If you treat them bad...and then you have a unrelated problem...they will 'still' help you 'regardless'. If confronted with deadly force to break Gods law...they will choose death. WAIT A MINUTE...Here we go....O wait, they shun politics...and turn it over to their God [as Jesus did]. Well...I guess it seems clear!

Which Christian religion should rule? I will write this. I think that the world would be a much more peaceful and happy place if we all agreed upon and followed the correct religion. However, no one should be forced to follow any give religion. So, until we can convince everybody to follow one religion (through persuasion rather than force), no one religion should rule.

No, cultural differences and backgrounds would make that difficult. I believe others should have the right to follow whatever religion they choose, as long as it does not involve eradicating all Christians or members of other religions, for that matter.

Dear god, no. It should not be run by any religion at all - ever. Comments such as "The recent floods in parts of the UK are sent from God in punishment for hurting the Earth" from the Church of England explain why not, better than I can.

I do not think so. Christians would like it, but the rest of the world would resist, as it would go against their deepest beliefs. Even the Jews and Muslims, who have similar beliefs in general, are opposed to Christianity and would most probably reject Christian rule.

No. For Christianity to be authentic, it must be embraced freely by individuals who come to it of their own accord.

When Christ comes back, He will rule and reign. Until then though, Christianity being the world's rule is not likely. I believe that the world will be ruled by a false religion and united anti-Christian political system with a leader known as the Beast very soon but only for a temporal time until the Lord returns. -In Christ's service. No I do not believe that any Religion should rule the world. We should all have a right to our own beliefs whatever they may be.
