87% of the time, this is a lifetime average thus far. I was very respectful and obedient (it was the stuff they didn't specify that got me in trouble) as a child. As an adult and a parent myself, I listen to most of my parents advice, but they have changed and I've seen their parenting skills drop as my little brothers age and the last two get into all kinds of trouble (1 of them having trouble with the law...). So I weigh their advice more now, then when I was younger... but back then it was sound advice and I still use it today. Their training methods are still good, but they don't seem to use them anymore... a shame really.

I always, always did my entire life until about 17. I think subconsciously I knew that someday before I moved out of the house I would become a bit of a bad kid, which I have, so I set up 17 years worth of foundation trust. Wow, that sounds really manipulative, but it's true.

All the time. There were a couple of hot topics (like borrowing the car privileges) but I never blatantly went against a rule.
