Why doesn't Internet Explorer support using :hover in CSS for all HTML tags?

Internet Explorer 7 now supports :hover for tags with issues. IE6 is so out of date it's amazing. I believe the only reason MS decided to come out with IE7 was because they were being threatened by Firefox. http://www.webdevout.net/browser-support-css#support-css2pseudoclasses-hover You can also use javascript to counter this with IE6. Look into jquery: http://www.jquery.com
