  • Do you mean a troll flag? I hope its an ugly one. okay I figured it out, lol you meant exactly what you asked. (sorry, later the day gets the slower my brain works)
  • Even if you flag something you won't necessarily get the points for it and if it's wrong nothing will happen to the thread. I mean there COULD be one, but it wouldn't seem like the best way to troll (though personally no trolling is a good way).
  • There probably are people that go through questions and just flag them for no reason, but they aren't effective because answerbag staff reviews all flag requests. I bet the staff hates them though, since they have to sort through all the improperly flagged questions and answers.
  • No because you are not being down rated and no ill activity has transpired. If you got flagged and it stuck then what wrong has transgressed?
  • No, they might but they would not get very far. Remember that flags must be approved by the staff in order to get the 5 points & have a question removed.
  • http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/342347 I'm pretty sure flagging has to be approved by the staff. Also, try to remember that it's important to search before you ask questions so that you aren't asking duplicates, and then you won't have to worry about being flagged.
  • Some users flag for the mod points, yes. They don't care if the flag's valid or not. It's all about points, points, points to these people. <shakes head>
