  • Crazy Eights is similar to Uno. You play with a regular deck of 52 cards. Deal 8 cards to each player when there are two players, deal 5 cards to each player if there are more. Flip the top card of the deck over, and lay a card on top of it that matches either the face value of the suit. Eights can be laid on any card, and you can make them be any suit. If you can't play, draw cards until you can. First person to discard all cards wins.
  • There is an asian game called Mao that is similar - not sure the rules exaclty, I've only ever played it a few times - let me see if I can find more info..... got it - here ya go http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mao_(game)
  • There is a game called BS (I'm sure you can all guess what it stands for and I'm sorry, but i din't name it)also called Cheat. But, anyhow, the point, like UNO is to run out of cards first. You deal out the whole deck. The first person puts down aces, the second twos, the third threes, etc. (You probably don't want to play with more than three people.) But, if you don't have any of that number you lie and put down any random card from your hand. If you doubt somebody, you say BS. If they were lying they have to take the whole pile. If they were telling the truth, you have to take the whole pile. You can also lie and put down more cards than you really have. Whoever runs out of cards first wins.
