How can anyone drink anything from a mug that is empty? I don't get it.
-
If you didn't actually give a minor alcohol, then technically you did nothing wrong. However, it's your word against the police.

LMAO a prime example of the land of the free's law system not allowing people to be free!!!

On your ticket, they should have given you the code of the law they accuse you of violating. Could you please tell me what that code is?
-
my ticket was for a violation of "Reno Municipal Code", number 8.16.060.A Let me know if this helps...

If you are solely responsible for your child by law, then you are also solely responsible for what he is permitted to drink and what he is permitted to drink from. In this case, it does seems a little odd that you have been ticketed for something that you say did not occur and i guess all you can do is pay the ticket (or get your brother to)or prepare to fight the system. As for who would win i guess it boils down to whether you have to prove you're right in that the glass was empty or whether they have to prove they're right in that it contained alchohol or remnants of it. Generally speaking - i think parents and children would benefit more if this type of thing didn't occur in the first place.

Is Reno in financial difficulties? If so then you are guilty.

If the mug was empty, why didn't you show the police the mug and let him sniff the child. You can smell beer.
