They believe that somehow, aliens put us here, yes.
-
Your friend didn't make it up because there is a lot of press around on that point. However, I'm a Scientologist and it's not part of my beliefs. I think you will find most Scientologists think this is just trivia.

Your friend only sort of made this up. Part of the teachings of OT III include a story featuring the alien overlord Xenu. You can read the whole story for yourself: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/OTIII/ or get some addition explanation and context here: http://www.xs4all.nl/~kspaink/fishman/ot3.html

yes these nutters believe these thing but thankfully they have to pay to be part of this cult so most of the morons wont have any real power in the world and are stupid enough not to see the scam,a bit like religions but at least they put more effort in
-
Well humans didn't come to earth by themselves however we're not sure how, so stop making stories!
-
Is it the annanaki or whatever? reptilian beings from the nearing nibiru? lmao

It's the next step for those that currently believe in evolution. Intelligent Design is so obvious that many scientists are having a very awkward time trying to disprove it. Many are just screeching and name-calling because they don't have a good answer. Since most of the scientists that believe in evolution are athiests, they wil go along with any idea that does not include God. So instead of believing His words, they will necessarily have to say that space aliens brought life to Earth. ...there is no explanation where the aliens came from, however.........

I heard on national geographic channel that a meteor with some microscopic organisms or something on it crashed in to earth and so all living beings evolved from that.

Read it and weep: http://www.xenu.net/

You are correct, these are NOT people you want to offend...

Scientologists believe that people, as spiritual beings, did not originate on this planet, and this is largely due to the belief in previous lives. So this means that, according to Scientology beliefs, there'd have been aliens galore. Frankly, I don't think this is dissimilar from a lot of Old Testament stories. Wheels in the sky, voices from the beyond, angels, devils- not dissimilar from aliens at all, IMO.
