If it's your first offense, you sure can try! It would help if you had some reasonable HONEST REASON to offer as to why you would drive so recklessly in the first place. Then again, you may get a Judge who is really a hard ass on this type of stupidity.

Pity you weren't doing 110, then you would have been doing twice the limit. We all exceed speed limits, but when we get caught we just have to accept it. You need to keep your wits about you to spot camera and radar sites.

Your citation should have been for reckless driving. the last person i stopped for speeding 124 mph in a 45 mph construction zone, was fined $1,200.00, plus court costs. This was his first offense. Does this tell you anything?

i just got a 102 in a 55.... and still was stilled assigned traffic school for a 53 in a 35 this is my second ticket... what am i looking at?? :( it sucks, the cop would even let me tell him y i was going so fast.. emergency situation..
