www.netfreestuff.co.uk is great. www.freecycle.org is a good place where people give away stuff they don't need. You could sign up to www.pineconeresearch.co.uk, answer surveys and get luncheon vouchers.

if you like books you can go to bookcrossings.com--its like a treasure hunt you type in your city and go locate a book or if you have a book you "set it free" and someone else can read it
