They all suck to a degree because anything you HAVE to do sucks. But the trick is to find something you enjoy. I enjoy computers so I enjoy my job most of the time.

I've had a job that didn't suck. You just have to find something you really enjoy doing, with people you enjoy doing it with. It helps if you can do it from home, or on a more flexible schedule.

I like my job quite a bit. There are parts that I don't like. I've had some jobs that sucked, usually that's a function of being in some sort of no-win situation, or having a boss who's just terrible. But I've liked quite a few of the jobs I've had: a good job can be a great thing -- an opportunity to be a part of something worth doing, with people who are enjoyable and interesting. There are problems in all jobs, but the good ones can be quite good.

I love my job/chosen career. At times it's awful, yes, but for the most part it's a profession that I would not want to change, even if Middlesbrough FC offered me a £130,000 a week contract. A lot of it is due to the local setup - the people you work with, the resources you have and the location you work at. Therefore, I would say this is the job more than the profession. But equally, some professions suck more than others. Jobs that *really* suck include being a prostitute and a vacuum cleaner.

They can't all suck, because there are people out there who say they love their jobs. It's really more perception, though....I might love my job (if I could find one, that is) and you might hate the same job.

Yes, all jobs suck. People who like their jobs are lying to make themselves feel better, and what they really mean by "I like my job" is "I hate my job less than everyone else hates theres". Even sex wouldn't be fun if you had to do it for eight hours a day five days a week.

I'm now 40 , a woman, after working for years with different types of Jobs, my last one I like it so much.Maybe because flexible hours and I can do it from home too. It's been 3 years now. Not good pay but I love my job.

Find something you love, and you'll never work a day in your life. My parents know somebody who makes ridiculously ornate hand-made cuckoo clocks. He loves it, if he wasn't selling them then he'd have a house full of them because he'd keep doing it. My job is to correct the grammar and spelling in a newspaper. I correct the grammar and spelling on posters, signs, anything I pass by if I have a pen in my pocket. It's pretty neat to come to work and get paid to do something that I'd do for free. Now, I've certainly got things I don't like- but I love my job. This morning my job duties changed and I might have to rip my boss's head off for his poor planning and failure to understand my job description, but the other times I like it.

Not all jobs suck, I'm sure of that. In the second half of June and the first half of July this year, I had a second job where the tasks really stimulated my mind. The pay was quite good too. Too bad I had to leave it because it had been causing me sleeplessness. I didn't give up my first job (the one I that I have currently) because in that second job, I had no security of tenure. In these trying times, I'd rather have a job that sucks (but where I have security of tenure) than a great job (where I can be removed anytime they want).
