  • I've heard of such a device but I'm not about to give details on it. In case you haven't caught on yet, modifying your PS2 (or whichever games console) to play pirated cds not only is against the law but voids your machines warranty. Since any addition is likely to try to get the machine to do something it never was designed for, the chances of you blowing your PS2 up are increased by doing something like this. "mod chips" can be a risky business - my advice is to stay away from them.
  • Not without opening it. You need a Mod Chip but they're kinda hard to obtain. You'd have to import one with it already installed. I've been through the process and honestly it's not worth it.
