That's called "getting older". If you have kids, it comes back for a while.

Enjoy what Christmas spirit you have left, because soon we won;t even be able to call it that, thanks to those Middle Eastern complainers.

If you can find a way to eliminate all the commercialism that engulfs us starting before Halloween that would be a good step toward regaining any true meaning to that time of year. With many people it becomes a tiring, tedious trudge up the mountain of purchasing this and buying that...not conducive to much spirit or anything else that is meaningful.

It starts too early. By the time it comes around it's always going to feel like an anti-climax. People just don't seem to celebrate it the same way.

If we start talking about it as early as July 1st it's ceased to be special.
