  • check the washer on the drain plug check for a congealedf clog stopping the oil coming out. do an engine flush with the proper fluid as per instructions and refill with fresh oil, but not overfilling. is the dipstick got really sticky oil on. if so it can read full even if theres little oil in the engine as old oil can congeal to things.
  • Remove the only drain plug installed on that type of vehicle on the oil pan on the underside of the engine block- most commonly a 5/8" socket will do. Probe into drain hole using a screwdriver to unplug any sludge & then flush once or twice until clean. Oil change interval should be no more than 5000 km. If after clearing drain hole & no more oil ever comes out than a few drops... Forget about the rest of the oil change & get on the horn to the boneyard for a new block !
  • there may be something blocking the drain hole. somehow something could have been dropped into the oil pan through the dipstick tube, or somehow in the drain hole. I would take a screwdriver and poke inside to see if there is blockake, if so, i would buy a very small pair of grabbers(at an auto parts store) and try and pull it out.
