  • If you've tried cleaning the cartridge and that still doesn't work, then the problem may well be in the nozzle head of the printer itself. You could take it to a cartridge refill company, who normally have a solution that helps dissolve water-based inks with which they flush ink cartridges prior to refilling them, other than that you would need to replace the print head. In my experience, replacing the head to a printer where cartridges sit on a seperate print head is often more expensive than replacing the printer itself. If it's not under warranty, get a quote first, then make up your mind whether it's viable to go ahead with a repair or replace the entire thing.
