  • My guess is a coil issue.
  • My 2001 Corolla is just now having same problem with a misfire on no. 3 and multiple misfires. New plugs, new coil were tried but didn't fix issue. Next, Toyota tech wants to try wires, and fuel injection components. Certainly, they'be seen this problem before and this vehicle is not the only one in the world with this problem. Why the run around from the company/dealership? It's getting costly and tech is clueless! I am suspicious as warranty was recently up on the vehicle. They appear to back warranty, but really have been difficult to deal with in this instance. Not sure if I'll buy another after this fiasco.
