go to the hydroplane races! Those are a ton of fun! And don't forget the miss seafair pageant, it's fun to watch. there are also parades, and always tents with vendors selling various interesting things.

Spend it in Hawaii? Seriously, we could guide you better if you gave us some idea of what you like. I don't particularly like Seafair, but if you enjoy hydro races, the Blue Angels, obnoxious "pirates" and the like, certainly Seafair can hook you up. OTOH, if you aren't into any of that stuff and are stuck in Seattle for Seafair weekend, there's lots of other stuff going on. Whatever you wind up doing, I hope you have a great time.
