I understand more French than I can speak.

Norwegian (although I can speak about 40% of the language), swedish, danish and Ny Norsk (new norwegian). Thats not to mention scouse, geordie, glasweigian (although thats a hard one) and a million other dialects that I am sure should be registered as diffrent languages.

I understand a good deal of French but my pronunciation is horrible.

Spanish. i can understand it more or less, but i can barely talk it.

I can grasp some basic concepts by READING French and Italian. Listening to them, specially French is a completely different tihing.

Manderine Chinese! I can understand it well yest can't speak it to save my life!

I can read a bit of spanish as it's close to french. But understanding and speaking it is another thing.

I can understand french pretty well, but can only say basics I leaned in school, such as "May I please sharpen my pencil?" When am I EVER going to use that in real life? lol.

I can understand Spanish fairly well as long as the content is pretty simple. Speaking it... well I can ask where the bathroom is, and I can ask how many donkeys are in your house, and say that I can dance, but that's really about it.
