Florida, Illinois and Louisiana are flatter than Kansas. However, Florida takes the cake ... the pancake, that is. :)
The elevation for Kansas ranges from 750 feet at the mouth of the Kansas River to 4000 feet on the western border. Kansas might look like a pancake, but over 50% of its dough is leaning to one side. :)
The runner-up, Louisiana, has an elevation ranging from 8 feet below sea level in New Orleans to 535 feet above sea level at the northwest corner. The mean elevation is 100 feet above sea level. Louisiana is not only flatter than a pancake, it's flatter than a crepe. :)
The winner, Florida, has an elevation ranging from sea level to 345 feet above. This, plus its size, makes it flattest, both in terms of differential and flatness per area. It wins in all categories. Florida is flatter than the griddle (lol). :)
Some attribute Delaware to being flattest because it ranges from sea level to 450 feet, but because of its small size, its elevation change per area is more than the others.

Florida is the flattest state, in terms of differential from lowest point to highest point.
However, compared to states that have no point at or below sea level, Indiana is the winner. Indiana's lowest point is 320 feet above sea level along the Ohio River in Posey County. It's highest point is 1,257 feet above sea level, Hoosier Hill in Wayne County. A difference of 937 feet total. Certainly more than Florida or Delaware, but easily the flattest among those states with no point at or below sea level.
Florida is the flattest but we are not far behind. I live in Louisiana.
Kansas. Kansas is not only the flattest state, it is officially flatter than a pancake; this was worked out according to precise topographical measurements.

Florida is the flattest US state. Only 345 feet from highest
point to sealevel. Try Delaware and New Jersey, they come
next. Missouri is flatter than Kansas. Let's get the facts
from the USGS. OK?
Florida
I googled this, but couldn't find state-by-state statistics on bra sizes :(
kansas
my chest is.... and I live in Illinois
Kansas and Texas are pretty flat as far as you can see and are good candidates.
Florida
Sorry Sandy not Texas. There are mountains in the west almost 9,000 feet, hill country in central, pretty big hills by the way, and rolling hills throughout. Only the panhandle and coastal areas are actually flat.
Mississippi has the highest percentage of obese people.
More than two-thirds of its population (67.3%) are either overweight or obese.
The leanest state is Colorado.
