Something I have done, drive 18 hours into the wildernes in a tough 4x4 ambulance. Pick up and transport a dead man from a hunting accident / crime scene, and transport him back to the coroner in the city, an other 18 hours. There were two of us as ambulance attendants, so we could drive in shifts for the 36 hours without stopping. We charged $2,500.00, and after ALL of; the vehicle expenses, the paperwork & official document fees, insurance, taxes, etc.... we only earned a little over $800.00 each, and we both thought it should have been more ... ... so for $1,000.00 CLEAR, after taxes "et-al" I would do it again.... preferably a few hours shorter this time, please.
