I don't keep a journal exactly. I have Multiple Sclerosis and keep a list of current symptoms on my computer so I can update it. I also keep track of my periods (I'm perimenopausal and they're irregular as hell) b/c they might prove useful to my ob/gyn some day. Oh, and I do bitch about my MS symptoms in my personal journal, if that counts. :-) Now this is very important: Keep a list of all your medications on your computer: dosages, how many times a day. Update when necessary. Also change the month periodically to be up to date. Take with to every doctor's app't. I swear it will save you time. And they're always ecstatic when they can keep it in your chart b/c you have the original on your puter. BUT, the other part of this is keep a mini-version of your most current Med list in your wallet in case you end up in the emergency room and aren't in any shape to remember your name, much less your meds and all their doses. This is *massively* helpful.

I don't keep one because I feel good everyday. Here's why: I get plenty of sleep, I eat right, I exercise everyday, I drink lots of water, and I spend time with those I care about. Plus, I like my job...so that helps.

I keep one, because many people in my family are bipolar, I'm paranoid I might become that way and not catch it in time and end up in an institution so I keep a journal of how I feel everyday. Helps me stay balanced; cut out the bad factors.

I have been recording my blood pressure for 20 years, my body measurements for 28 years.
