i do agree that children know too much these days. i hate it when little children are too grown up for their age. its a shame really because you can never have your childhood back and i think a lot of children are missing out on that.

I don't think it's the topics so much as the manner in which they are discussed. I think tact and manners have been lost; and, that shows in the base way we discuss any topic under the sun.

well, i think that adult topics are not for children to know or learn... children are not cautious to what these topics are for or what do they say for grown up people... from my point, it is not good for children to know things that are not for their age...

I believe that people are more comfortable talking about adult topics in the open, which can be harmful to the young ones. Most of these people that are doing this though are young ones themselves and they think talking about these topics make them seem more grown up. I have a friend who has a daughter the same age as my son (very early middle school) and riding the bus she apparently hears inappropriate conversations on the school bus. She came home asking what a Blow Job was. Granted these were probably High School kids talking loud on the bus, even High School kids shouldn't be conversing about such topics... especially around Middle School kids, but if it makes them seem more 'mature' they could care less.
