Does it perplex you when people on AB tell you they don't know what something is (such as lebkuchen) and ask for an in depth explanation when they could easily Google it?

While I don't mind answering them, I think easily half the questions asked here could be answered with a Google search. In fact, I Google'd "lebkuchen" the other day.

Of course they COULD Google it, but maybe they are too lazy to do that. I don't mind that much either, because when you answer a question like that, you are contributing to the infomration database on the site

It doesn't perplex me, but it does annoy me sometimes. Some of the questions can be easily answered with an internet search - it isn't necessary to ask on here.

1) Google does not gives always the right answer very quickly, you have sometimes to do some research. There could also be different meanings. 2) The person who is chatting with you can suppose that you know the answer and hope that you will give them your particular view about the issue. 3) According to your avatar name, you will probably become many questions about Lebkuchen. And after you answered this questions more than 20 times, I understand it could get a little boring. As I am living in Munich, not very far from Nuremberg, I won't ask.
