I used to (arthritis is a crippler) play keyboard (piano, electronic key board, organ and harpsichord) and violin (fiddle we called them back home: They are the same basic instrument. Fiddlers generally prefer a flatter curve on the top of the bridge and four fine tuners) that translates to the viola as well. Violas are slightly larger, deeper sounding and read music from a different set of notes on the staff. Most violists begin on the violin. Not orchestra quality, but well enough to be considered worthy of a place in entertainment musician should I have desired to take that road. Orchestra players start out at a young age with their instrument then they spend a lot of time practicing each and every day. Musicians do not have to spend that much time in practice, although more practice does go a long way.

I could play the piano on my computer, only because I use the keyboard, and I think it sounds quite nice. Talk about songs that last 4-10 minutes.

I can play classical guitar, the piano, and trumpet. I have been in an orchestra playing 6th trumpet before.

As I was younger, I took classes at the conservatory and learned to play classical guitar. I played before some little audiences, for instance in a church. But I broke my finger by sport and I just play from time to time now.
