My honest answer is to give the money back to the citizens that paid the taxes, but if I had to choose I would choose medical care. Medical Care is a more urgent need than education. Government schools really do get enough money to educate all in the system. The medical system is more broken than the educational system.

Medical care. In the US, the population is aging. We need more doctors and nurses and lower medical costs.
-
I would choose socialized medicare for it is the right for all people to have medical services no matter if they can pay for it or not.It is about human compassion and away from greed.
-
public education, it has been ignored to long, we have to deal with lowing test scores, we'll just get our meds from canada
-
i would say public school,i believe kids today need more education to succeed in life, with out that who will become our doctors and nurses.
-
Definitely public school. Public schools are in lousy shape these days, with many not able to afford textbooks for the students due to budget cuts. Schools are also overpopulated, because there just isn't enough money to build *new* schools or hire more teachers. It's sad when teachers are spending THEIR hard-earned money on supplies for the students, because the budget won't allow them money for paper, pens, lab materials, etc.

Definately medical care, to me everybody's health is much more important, you need to be healthy in order to live your life or go to school, plus the fact that whilst everyone is training to become a nurse etc there are never enough staff to cope with the demand of healthcare, therefore more money needs to ploughed into this sector so we can continue to treat patients accordingly.
