I find it a waste of time and money though very small. It's not like your going to (your view of hell ) because you don't wear a hat or because you show your face. I think it's stupid. I can wear what I like and still be religious.

Mine doesn't, but I can understand why some do. It is to do with their world view. I have few problems with it. It is no different in that regard from the regional costumes of the past. They were just distinctives. As long as that clothing is not degrading to one sex (eg the burqa...and don't let anyone tell me it is not degrading)
