  • Is it banned? Why? :)
  • It is difficult to go against culture and legal restrictions. Only in some tribes or primitive cultures nakedness in both sexes does not have any problem.
  • Yes, it's considered indecent exposure. I have no idea why!
  • I do. You should have to cover the downstairs parts for sanitary reasons, but if a woman feels comfortable walking around without a shirt then I don't see why she shouldn't be able to do so. Do I think it will ever be accepted? Not as long as breasts are equated with sexuality.
  • That depends on what they are doing. For just regular living, yes. But the problem is in those who see the skin and do not have the discipline to keep their minds from lust ... so if the women are doing something that attracts extra attention to them in a sexual way, then no, we already have enough problems with men who can not control themselves.
  • Of course we should be allowed to go shirtless. It's just skin after all, just like the rest of our body parts that show. I know some fat guys who have bigger boobs than I do but they are allowed to go shirtless. It is all the workings of a conservative society that thinks we would all turn into a bunch of heathens if God-Forbid we should show some extra skin.
  • are there bras or bikini tops involved? actually, screw that question... either way, my answer is yes.
  • I think that breasts are normal and just food factories for babies, well at least for the most part. If you let women walk around topless in the USA, it will be harder to package them as porn.
  • I think they should do whatever they think is right.
  • I think most people shouldn't go about topless. Most men who go topless make me want to puke;-) Sorry about the duplicate answer, I don't know how that happened.
  • I think most people shouldn't go about topless. Most men who go topless make me want to puke;-)
  • totally!we can wear bras and reserve our dignity that way! its just like wearing a k bikini!
  • Yes, I'm all for equality here. ; )
  • I don't have any qualms with that idea.
  • Hell yeah
  • I generally prefer men keep their shirts on too. Most cultures in which that is acceptable it is partly because it is a LOT hotter than most of the US. I don't think it's wrong necessarily, but it would take a large cultural change, and give it time!
  • Thats been allowed for years here in Ontario, it was allowed in 1996. But to tell you the truth, I've never seen any females walking around topless yet.
  • Where I live, it's legal (Ontario)...But I have only ever seen in done ONCE. The day it became legal, these 4 old women were driving around in the back of a pick-up truck topless, just looking for attention.
  • My choice for me would be to keep my shirt on over top of my bra.....don't want to be without either! Do myself an injury!
  • i think men should not be allowed to be shirtless in public places. especially if they are on the chubby side, or sweaty. yuk!
  • Personally, I think everyone should be able to walk around in the nude if they want to. The reason men stare is because they are not used to it. In Amsterdam, I stayed in a hotel that had a Sauna and everone used it completely naked. But there are still a lot of people who really should keep it all covered up. Unfortunately, they are often the ones who like letting it all hang out.
  • Absolutely. Especially if you have something to show off going shirtless. Lots of girls would look better shirtless than going around with whatever they're wearing. I mean, what they paid for can't compete with what they were born with. :-P But that's coming from a girl who likes girls...
  • No they shouldnt be allowed...I mean come on ..then there would be no fun...we'll actually get used to there naturals... Who knows the GAY% might increase....
  • its legal 4 women 2 go topless in ney york city! go to this website to hear about a case where a women went topless, and is now suing nyc for alot of money, because its legal! :0 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/odd_topless_settlement;_ylt=AgrsKvhEOida17w0oADA55UE1vAI
  • Only if they wear a sports bra
  • Why not they are only mammory glands after all! if men can show off their bitch tits then why not women! :D
  • No women should not be allowed to. They should be forced to. And they should also thank every man who ogles them.
  • Not just because I'm a man... yes, I don't understand the double standard, amongst men and women on a lot of topics
  • Oh yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss should be obligatory.
  • Yes, and braless it is a big taboo for a woman to go without a bra for the sake of vaniety even for small chested ones. I think in the summer time shirtless at home is a plus.
  • sure, and while we are at it, toe rings should be mandatory.
  • If they like, sure! I mean, what's the difference between what women have and what men have except that ours are bigger and have a function? Maybe I find men's bigger more functional Adam's apples offensive! maybe men should have to wear scarves! :P
  • No if I see nipples all day in public, that isn't going to make any nipple truly special ever. Heh. By the way: killdrphil has a question that is What Color Are Your Nipples? That's a good companion piece (so to speak) to this question.
  • I would think that this is okay in some living situations... :-)
  • Oh hell yeha i do!!
  • yeah if they want to. if women cant go shirtless, why are fat men allowed to? the result looks the same. if i want to walk around with no shirt, then i should have the right to walk around with no shirt dammit!
  • Since the human race has sexualized the womens breast..no it would not be a good idea.
  • Sure then stupid men in Westernized countries would get over their boob obsession and grow up. A lot of boobs you don't want to see and I mean both men and women's.
  • They can where I live, in Santa Cruz California. There is no law here against anyone going topless. Still, it is rare to see anyone topless, let alone any women. Every few years, though, I'll see a topless women in the bookstore or someplace like that. As rare as it is, no one seems to pay much attention to it when it does happen. It's just breasts. Who hasn't seen breasts before?
  • I sure in the heck wouldnt complain.
  • oh no...
  • Yes, Discrimnation should be eliminated all together -especially when it is legal descrimination. That being said I think women should be allowed to go without bottoms - but men should have to wear pants.
  • Yes, then I won't have to worry about what shirt to wear or uncomfortable bras.
  • Nope. Not even all nice perfect sized gorgeous breasts can make up for all the nasty loopy floppy fatty boobies what make my stomach turn..
  • Absolutely! I will admit this is partly casue I am male and like boobs but really in the end it comes down to fairness and equality. though I will say in some states both sexes ar to have a top on at all times by the law but cops usual don't stop and bust for that.
  • uhhh no.
  • I do not want to see ugly boobies. Especially the kind that reminds me of flap jacks! yuck.
  • Yes!! That's an excellent plan!!!
  • yes,...yes I do!!
  • Why is it the men that should never take their shirts off in public are the first ones that want to? In fairness, if men can, women should be able to also. Let it be their choice. Hopefully, they will have more sense than some of these hairy back beer bellied guys go. Disgusting.
  • yes i think that should be allowed to do anything they want
  • yes as long as there attractive lol
  • They are allowed to in Canada, honey, but I haven't seen anyone around here do it.
  • Well there are about 3 billion men on this planet, and 3 billion women, and I don't understand why it is not a problem if a men shows his chest but it is a problem when a women does. It's all just human bodies. If we wouldn't make a thing out of it, it would be just normal. Half of us have a flat chest and half of us have boobs. No big deal.
  • Yup. Can't see any reason not too. +5
  • yes i do . they should be allowed to do the sam thing that a man does
  • I don't see what the big deal is, but I'm a product of my society and so I'm too self-conscious to go around topless. Then again, it hit 112° for me this summer. I woulda liked to go topless, definitely.
  • Fact from fiction, truth from diction. The is the rub, the big fraud and lie. We say women and men are equal then lace it full if "buts" and "howevers". There are so many areas where people whine over the seemingly unequality but never have the moxie to carry it through. Some females walking about have smaller breast than a lot of fat men. So it surely can't be the shape. Hairy moobs the size of 38Ds are certainly more disgusting than seeing a pair of 34As on a female, such as the female on the right. And any feminist that would not support being able to walk shirtless as a man is a fraud.
  • I've tried to get them to but it seems the only way is on college campuses where there are block partys or at marti graw.
  • Hell, yes. It is just discrimination against women.
