  • First, a judge can't arbitrarily file a restraining order against you. It has to be sought by a person and is then particular to them. For instance, if your ex asked for an order of protection it would be granted and would then pertain only to him. It should not come up in a background check for criminal violations.
  • If no criminal charges were filed, then no criminal charges will show up on your record... Having restraining orders filed against you doesn't make you a criminal anyway, lol
