My hair on my arms are little long and dark. My fiancee is always saying that women should shave their arms like they shave everywhere else. Every woman that he knows does this. Im scared to do it cuz I don't want my arms more hairy. What should I do?

Tell him to go screw himself. Sorry - but he shouldn't be telling you to shave anything on your body. Your body is yours to do with as you please. I have arm hair that I don't particularly like, but I don't do anything with it. If my fiancee told me to shave it off, I'd get really angry. Don't do anything you don't want to do - for him, or anyone.

If you don't mind doing it for someone you love to please them then you should do it. I know a few girls who shave their arms. They don't get more hairy (that I have noticed) because they shave them every day. It would make your morning or evening routine longer, but it would make you man happy and it isn't that much of a hassle. If you start to shave them then you will probably have to shave them for the rest of your life. You could always get laser hair removal surgery.

What is he talking about? I only know of one person who shaves her arms, and many people think it's weird. Besides, her arms are ALWAYS prickly and Velcro-like. I think it's time to have a talk with your fiance about this. I don't even think it's "necessary" to shave anyway (but I do, because it feels nice)and he shouldn't be saying that you--or women in general--should do anything like that.

Um, I don't know what HE'S thinking, but most women DON'T shave their arms. Arm PITS, but not actual arms. Also, it's a myth that shaving makes your hair come back thicker. It's just blunt so it looks thicker, but that doesn't actually happen. If you don't want to do it, tell him. Tell him if he wants you to do it, he should shave everything you do- legs, arms, armpits, bikini area- If you have to, he has to!

yeh you shouldn’t shave them if you dont wanna my sis shaved hers and she regrets it cause when she forgets its all poky and nasty and they came back even thicker so i say dont do it if YOU and only you have a problem with it you might try bleaching the hairs if you have light skin it will look good other than that don’t worry about it and if he does so much tell him to shave his back or his balls or something haha but seriously tell him you should hit the road cause this is my body and I don’t wanna shave my arms

Tell him you do what you want. But arms won't get hairier by shave, so do it, if you like playng with the idea. And also if it ever became hairier so what? Suffice you keep shaving it and none would notice;-). Hope I helped. anto

For this part of the body don't shave. You can buy Nair for body hair. It works great and when the hair grows back it's not thick as it would be if you shave. Try it you can buy it at Target, Walmart or even Pharmacy stores. But it works great!

He's talking nonsense. Not every woman shaves her arms. I know of one woman who does this. If you want to shave your arms, then do so, but don't do it just because your boyfriend is telling you to do so. And if it causes problems between you, then he's an idiot. Shaving them won't make them more hairy, it's just that when the hairs start to grow back again, it will look worse because all the hairs are growing back at once, and it looks thicker.

Most women do NOT shave arms or even everywhere. There is nothing wrong with body hair. And please don't shave just for him. If you feel the need to do something about it, do it for you, and try sugaring, but not shaving.

First, you do not have to worry about getting "more hairy" by shaving. Your hair will not grow an differently after you shave then before. Second, it is up to you if you want to shave the hair. If shaving my arms made my significant other happier, I would probably do it. It is not an out of the ordinary thing to do, and if you do not like it, all would be back to normal in a few weeks.

I don't know anyone that shaves their arms but I know my bf would love me hairy or shaved. He never pressures me into shaving at all and that's how it should be.

none of my mates have ever said anything about thier girlfriends shaving thier arms, i know my girlfriend definitly wouldn't do it. there's nothing wrong with having hair on your forearms, most men just prefer shaven legs and underarms.
