  • Yes. And that's a very vague question.
  • Sure. For instance, orange hair is more unique than the already unique purple hair if you ask me.
  • i think it depends on the person and their opinion of what is unique/ "more unique" than something else.
  • unique is supposed to be a superlative like "biggest". You can't be more biggest. But. Isn't something that is one in a thousand less unique than something which is one in a million?
  • No. Unique means it is one-of-a-kind. There aren't ANY others like it. That means, if it's one in a thousand, it's NOT unique. It has to be one in everything. You are a unique person because there's only one of you, and nobody else is quite like you. My copy of a rare book is NOT unique because there are three other known copies in the world. "Very unique" and "more unique" are oxymorons and are fairly meaningless.
  • No. Unique means one of a kind. If something is one of a kind, something else one of a kind, is the same. It can be stranger, more different, tacky, outlandish, but not more unique.
  • yep, well all qualities r always different in their amount, like this diamond is realy unique yet the other diamond is even more unique and so on...so words that qualify nouns have infinite ranges.
