  • Anitbiotics will only help fight against infection, not to fight pregnancy. I only think that the sinus infection will be affected. If it did work, then many other women would try this practice other than abortion.
  • This is very out of date, but if you're on the Pill, antibiotics can make it less effective. I know someone who got pregnant this way: she was on birth control and had to take antibiotics for a sinus infection. Nine months later, she had a little boy.
  • I got pregnant while on antibiotics. I was very upset cause I tested negative before taking it and found out that I was pregnant after 9 days of antibiotic. The health risk for the baby depends on the severity of the antibiotic. My doctor said there are certain category of med which is not healthy for baby. Be careful when you are in antibiotics.
