Does brushing your teeth before or after drinking coffee make your teeth more or less susceptible to staining?

Before I believe. I have been told not to clean my teeth before drinking juice as the surface is more porous at that time and the acid from the juice will thin the enamel. That is my reason for thinking brushing prior to drinking coffee may make staining more likely.It may not be correct or very scientific.
