I hate to be the one to tell you this, but, It's Toast !! Time for a new phone. Check your contract. If you have insurance on it, they'll give you a new one .
-
put it through the tumble drier!
-
You DO NOT TURN IT ON at all until it has been opened up and completely left to dry. That is the only slim chnace there is of it working. Turn it on wet , thats it, its a write off.
-
You need a new one that one being submerged in water is a gonner....sorry!
-
don't turn it on for starters. Remove the battery and gently tap out any water from either side. Open up even possible thing you can to allow air at it. Place it in from of a fan for a few days changing angles, sides etc... then try to turn it on sometime next week, unplugged of course. You may get lucky. My brother retrieved his from the bottom of the lake after 30 minutes and he still has it. Remember more than likely your warranty is gone so its all a last ditch to save info and if the stars shine your way save your phone.

************* Take out the battery, and leave it to dry overnight. Do not try to turn it on if there is any chance its still damp inside. Phones can usually deal with being submerged if you do that, but the soap and spin cycle lower your chances. ************* good luck

I regret to onform you that unless you have a waterproof cell phone, it is shot. Your best bet is to claim it on the insurance (if you bought that) and they will send you a new phone. Cross your fingers, your SIM card, may still work- but even that is doubtful.
-
Sorry. Your cell phone is now soggy toast.
-
you could try to dry it. If you have a rack in your dryer and run on air or delicate cycle. (don't let it bounce around.) or call your carrier and ask what the recommend.

I washed my Kyocera once and after a while I slowly gained all the function back. Let it dry for some time (this might take a couple days) then see if it reacts to being charged, if you see any lights or beeps then there's hope. If you slowly start to get function back in the buttons (for me it was like a button or two a day) then it will likely make a full recovery. If after a couple to a few days of drying you don't see any signs of life, then put it on a piece of driftwood, push it out to sea and try to peg it with a fire arrow

you would be suprised what a cell phone can take... before you call it a loss.. take the case apart, take the battery out, and place all the important guts on top of a lamp, the bulb will warm it up enough to dry it out but not enough to damage the phone. It's worth a try and has worked for me 2 out of 3 times (i'm hell on a phone haha)
-
i dropped my phone in the river, and didnt know it was there for 10 mins... what i did: open everything up... every bit you can open up and take of the phone, do it. put it in the hot water cuboard or in a really warm (not hot) space for about 2 weeks... turning it every day or so. DO NOT!!!!!! try abd turn your phone on while it is drying, or it will short circut and then you are really screwed (but i turned mine on when it was wet and it still goes) i hope this works for you.. it worked for me and i could see water under the screen and everything and it now goes fine with no water marks or anything. but my phone was really new... i dont know how it will work for an older phone.
-
No, no, no. Your cell phone is not shot but I would avoid putting it on a lamp either. Take out the battery and bury the cell phone in UNCOOKED rice overnight. The rice will pull out all of the moisture and it should be good as new tomorrow. Trust me, this works very well.
-
Holy that just happened to me today. Whatever you do, DON'T TURN IT ON! Let the phone and battery dry for about a day. Then try to turn it on. If it does not work, it's toast. Then your only hope is insurance or restoration options.
-
That has happened to me but mine fell in the toilet. YUCK!!! Take the battery out & slap it gently in yoru hand to try to remove any excess water in the circuit board . Leave the battery out for a few days, but get a hair dryer & try to dry it out as much as possible. This may take a few days but it worked for me 3 times.
-
take the battery out immediately. put the phone and battery in a warm dry place for at least three days. Reassemble. sometimes this works sometimes it doesn't. but it does take some time to dry. Whatever you do, don't try to turn the phone on while it's wet.

my daughter sucked on mt husbands, and it was a goner! we tried the airing thing, but didn't work! good luck, but I think the washing machine has alot more fluid in it then my daughters mouth!
-
My friend let it dry out overnight and that didn't work so he put it in the microwave for 5-10 sec and it worked again
-
Everyone has said all the logical stuff. Hope you get it working. :)
-
Take it apart (take batteries out and battery case off) and just leave it to dry. C.P.R. (Cell Phone Revival)

You go to a store and buy a new one - and check your pockets before washing next time.
-
one thing you might try is putting it in a jar of dry rice for a couple of days. It worked for my i-pod I guess it's worth a try
-
You can try putting it through the dryer.
-
Have you tried putting it through the wringer?
-
The person said that it would not turn on. That means he turned on the power. It is probably shot now. NEVER try to turn on a wet cell phone. ₪ ɦəlʞɹÉq ₪
