From recent questions someone said,"Something always has to come from nothing", is it true and is that possible?

It depends. In the physical world, let us chemistry, you cannot obtain water if you don´t have H and O.In the mental world creativity can come from nothing previuos in your brain.

Everything comes from something. You can neither create not destroy matter.

Something cannot come from nothing. An effect (something) must have a preceding cause which cannot be nothing. Nothing can only lead to nothing.
