Hello mrtorch, How are you today? I'm fine thanks how are you mrtorch? No.
-
I don't answer to all voices in my head, only some of them. ; )
-
All the time, it helps me think more clearly.
-
Leave me alone will you I was enjoying answering my own questions, Is that not right? Of course it is, isn't that Stayblue4life rude interupting my conversation! Thay are all the same today they just have no consideration that one might be happy with ones own conversation.
-
Conversationally, no; but sometimes I catch myself counting my steps out loud while I'm walking. A little obsessive compulsive disorder never hurt anyone!
-
- What do you think, should I answer this? - Yes, why wouldn't you? - Because people might think I'm stupid - You're not stupid, just be honest - Ok, Thanks I will - That's more like it! Yes I do.
-
I call myself names out loud when I do something obviously silly/stupid. Vocalising thoughts can also help certain personality types develop ideas. Im all for it.
-
I don't talk to myself, but I have talked under my breath before when I was upset at somebody.
-
I have my own imaginary frined that I talk to. Many say that I talk to myself.
-
Every day, sometimes too much..... I have been embarrassed more than once because of that.
-
Yes, I call it "thinking out loud"!
-
Not nearly as much as I sing to myself. lol
-
Very often. It helps me think and work things out. I've always done it. If I'm not talking to myself, I'm talking with our cats or dogs. But they don't answer back as much as I do myself.
-
If I ask myself something I wont just not answer. I work through a lot of things out loud.
-
No, YES, no, YES WE DO! no we don't. yes we do.
-
Did you ever catch me talking to myself? It was only one time or two.
-
Only if I do something stupid then I go on and on about ..what made you think you could fix that?..what were you thinking?..I will never try that again..etc.
-
I do, then I bore myself, then I get mad at myself and ask me to go away.
-
I would be very concerned if I didn't. Self-talk is natural and universal. The choices is between positive and negative self-talk. I would add, however, I do not speak to myself as if the one to whom I was speaking were a second person outside of myself.
-
Only the beautifully sane people talk to themselves. If you don’t then something is wrong with you and you need to develop a relationship with yourself

-
Yes and its very normal..as long as you don't answer back.
-
I don't talk to myself. Do I?
-
Yes. I like what I have to say.
-
No, often i have a bad habit of talking about my significant other XD
-
Yes I talk to myself all the time. My excuse is 'because I am the only person likely to give me the answer i wish to hear'.
-
Yes I talk to myself all the time. It is my way of remembering stuff...if I say it out loud or write it down then I am more inclined to remember it. Also I talk all through my shopping at the supermarket...people must think I'm crazy (my husband does!). It is more like a stream of consciousness just talking my thougths out loud..."hmmm yes I think I will buy that one over this one and no, I don't think we need any of that this week...still some left in the cupboard...." that kind of thing.
