  • The ending was very realistic. Life goes on. Perhaps too many red herrings--Meadow's parking problems, the man at the counter going to mens room a la Godfather, the two blacks entering the restaurant. But this is life for Tony. He must expect danger at every movement in his area. and--life goes on. Little changes. Meadow will be a lawyer, AJ a wastrel, his wife still a living wife with doubts...
  • It was the only ending possible, and it was genius. It could not have been neatly tied up unless Tony had been killed, and it would have been a total injustice to the brilliance of the series if he had been killed. Sorry about the lateness of the reply. I just got around to watching it.
