  • Yuo should get time and a half for Sat. and dbl.time for Sunday
  • Sorry, but Brutimax is not correct--unless he is talking about a particular union contract. In New York State--the only state that I am familiar with, employment law-wise, the law is: Time and half after eight hours on any day. Time and half after 40 hours in any week. So, you could work only one Monday, but for nine hours. In that case NYS law requires that you be paid time and half for that last hour. Pay on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays is not time and half unless the 8 hour and 40 hour limits are reached. This rule applies to all hourly employees. Management, or managers are exempt from the law. This is one very good reason for joining a union.
  • In California you would get 8 hours of overtime for Saturday, and 8 hours of overtime for Sunday. The 7 day rule only applies to the 7th day. In your case, you get nothing extra from the 7th day rule because you worked so many hours during the week.
