I would and di, me and my mate has been together for close to a yea and a half. There are a lot of 'nuts' online, but there are decent ppl too. You just have to use very good and cautious judgment.

Its the number one way people are meeting nowdays. just be careful to get to know them first by email and telephone. then meet them in a public place. drive your own car. then make up your mind. it can be fun and you can end up meeting some new friends. its not perfect. everyone is not honest. I have been dating a guy for a year that I met thru the internet.

Why did you say be careful.....matter of fact wanna meet me sometime.....!I'm 62 years old posing as a 33 year old with a 25 year's old picture...i've been arrested twice for stalking,been on dateline once and which neither will I bother mention until after I meet you oh yeah i smoke crack!!! and when we do meet make sure you bring all your credit cards a pay stub w/ your social security # on the back ...haha just playing but thats reality of the internet.

Yes, and I have. So have my friends.

Two of my friends are now married to the guys they met on a dating site (one was match.com). Another is happily in a serious relationship with her guy (it was on eHarmony.com).
