I was painfully shy as a girl but I am much more outgoing now. What helped me was I just accepted me the way I am. I have something to offer just like anyone else and that's enough. So does she.

No harm in being shy. Just be yourself - do not try to be anything other than yourself, because it doesn't work. If people don't like or accept you for the way you are, that's tough. Just be yourself

There's nothing in the world wrong with being shy. it's natures way of saying be careful fool. There's a ton of creeps out there both male and female. The only sure fire cure for shyness is either getting and staying drunk which isn't the best way to go through life or plain old fashion time. Time is the best cure for shyness. I was horribly shy as a kid and had girls sit on my desk in school with their short skirts just to see me sweat and boy, did I ever sweat. I wanted to deck most of them, but i outgrew that and now I wish they would do that. HA! Time works the best..just time.
