  • Maybe if she stayed in jail longer, she wouldn't get into any more trouble!
  • For real? Wow.. the U.S. judicial system..what can I say. Money talks..rich people walk.
  • Well if you want to beat a rap, become famous...;)
  • Wow..."That's hot".
  • How did that happen? I thought she had to do twenty-something days in jail. I think it's wrong. Any other average person would be sitting in there still.
  • When you have enough "Money" and "pull", you can get away with almost Anything for example; O.J. Simpson Michael Jackson Paris Hilton ( I know there are manny more I cant think of immediately)
  • I don't really care either way. I didn't know she was in jail. If she was guilty of something, she should serve the same sentence as others. If she didn't do that, I feel that justice was not served...basically the same as I'd feel if it were anyone else.
  • :O:O SHE OUT ALREADY?!?! Thats prepostrious!! So she has money.........and she can get away with breaking the law....right....
  • It sounds as if the payment got to the judge a few days late, doesn’t it?
  • I feel soo bad she had to spend three entire days in that dreadful place, that poor girl, with those mean people....... HEY WHAT THE HECK, they should have made her their own personal "PRISON BIT@H" for her entire sentence.!0 he he he,. thinks she can getaway bc she's famous ! (well she just did )...Just my thought though....dream I meant. ha ha ha
  • God help us all, she will go on a killing spree. Oh noes.
  • Don't care about Paris Hilton and don't understand why so many people do. But since you ask, she's out of jail but not released - they have her under house arrest. Medical reasons, they say.
  • I don't feel much of anything. Why should I care? Paris hilton is to me as ants are to elmo. Pretty much everything I know about the girl is through questions on AB. Stop caring about the girl, she doesn't care about you.
  • The legal system is a mockery. Equality under the law is a joke. If you bitch and scream enough, have well paid lawyers to lie for you and the press with it's nose in your trough you can get away with almost anything.
  • I think that either EVERYONE who was sentenced for the same crime as she was should also be released to maintain equal 'justice', or she should be put back to serve her damn time like everyone else. (And given that she has someone been released, she should be put back but into a higher security prison, lol : P )
  • One more example of how crazy this world has become...
  • I am disgusted by it! The american judical system (and tbh most countries systems) need a serious kick up the arse now! 3 mounths means 3 mounths to me yet 3 days to that WHORE???? FFS BITCH!!
  • Personally, I don't care. But I'm sure the people running the jail are happy.
  • She'll be baaaaack, as most often happens when people "get away with" only a slap on the wrist and no real consequences for their misdeeds. (She should pay just like everybody else...well ALMOST everybody else).
  • Spoiled, selfish celebrities like Paris HIlton are going to keep acting important and untouchable just as long as the people around them keep treating them that way.
  • WTF? I thought she was going to serve at least a month. Darn
  • Unfair.
  • How do I feel...well I am not surprised. Let this serve as a lesson to all girls (and guys) who think they are above the law because thier Daddy is rich...after all, if you're dumb enough and show enough skin you can get away with anything...I mean that's what America is all about right? Rich, naked blondes and the rule of law...
  • I cannot understand it. If she is sick, don't jails have doctors? If she cannot hack it, then tough, jail is not meant to be easy. It speaks volumes about how important money is in the US system (which is sad, as I am sure most regular people would think this is not justice).
  • um not that i care over much ,but that child has been eating from a sliver spoon since the day that she was born. at this iam not surprized in the least. she is now under house arrest for the next 45 days and she cant leave her house.
  • That is crap! they let her out and gave her 40 days of house arrest because of an undisclosed "medical illness" yeah, they're not telling us because she's fine, Im sure plenty of people get sick in jail and I dont see them getting to go home and serve house arrest! It's because she has money. Hell, here's a guestion for answerbag: Who would rather serve their jail term at home than at the jailhouse? It's complete BS.
  • There is no justice in the system unless you can afford it. Apparently the justice system has a price and can be bought rather cheaply. Her release is nothing but a slap in the face to the descent people of this country and an insult to it's collective intelligence. It is evidence enough to point out the fact, that the judicial and prison systems of our society, are designed to persecute the poor, and opress the creed of minority peoples... her release symbolizes these truths.
  • I asked this yesterday: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/315901
  • i think its a joke anyone of us would have ad to finish the sentence but she only did 3 days. she should have been punished like anyone else.
  • its bullshit. Normal middle class people would have breakdowns in jail and they would just get over it in jail.
  • is she goin to shave her hair too?
  • Not really! ;)
  • Sounds like someone was paid off. Big Time !!!!!
  • Mental breakdown? She has been caught driving drunk and her license was suspended. And she drove again! That is a delinquent action don´t you think?
  • Come on! we're being too harsh! the girl did wrong, sure, but she didn't need to be locked up for it. OJ wasn't locked up for murder, so why should Paris be locked up for drunk disqualified driving? An extortionate fine would have served the general populace better.
  • AFAIK, it wasn't a "mental breakdown". They said the reason they transferred her to house arrest was because she requires a certain medication in a certain dose that the jail simply couldn't accomodate.
  • Unfortunately. money will get you out of jail, even if you're guilty. :/
  • its BS, I wonder which Hilton Hotel the judge is gonna take his free vacation at...
  • I want to be under house arrest in THAT house, it's got 40 rooms, probably a pool and tennis courts. It would be like a vacation. They should stick her in a one bedroom, apt. in the west end.
