  • because dinosaurs have hollow bones, just as birds. most of them also had short front legs, which share a structure very similar to the birds of wings. As for the theory falling out of favour, I Missed that, as I was taught this in Biology a year ago. The only reason I could see it falling out of favour, would be because it involves evolution.
  • There are many similarities between the skeletons of birds and the skeletons of theropod dinosaurs. And recently some dinosaur fossils with feathers were discovered in Liaoning province in China. Another fossil showed a dinosaur sitting on a nest of eggs like a bird.
