Birds have wings, so they can fly. Ostriches have wings, but they can't fly. Their wings are worthless. Doesn't that contradict "Intelligent Design"?

They can run at rapids speed and their wings serve as confort pillows. Their wings balance the weight at either direction so the ostrich runs straight and keeps balance.

As a human, you think of only one purpose for wings. Science is yet to find other purposes of wings. But is is a common knowledge that any organ serves more than one purpose. The Upanishads of Hinduism say that a soul is a finite piece of the Infinite Soul (Almighty). How can the finite understand the pupose intended by the infinite in the "intelligent design"?

That is exactly what I have ment. Every thing in creation is unique. That is the greatness of intelligent design of Almighty. You can not understand all aspects of even a simple thing like pineapple even if you spend your whole life time. The more you learn sincerely, the more you come to know that there is more to learn evan about a sand particle. Have you not observed researchers finding unending information even about such simple things. How can the genes and DNA molecules store so much data which is impossible even to modern computer hard-disks? Only when you accept the Ominipresent and Omnipotent, things will become clear. No amount of scientific explanation can help.

It does give support to evolution. The Ostrich doesn't need to fly because it adapter to it's envionment. The penguin doesn't fly, but still uses it's wings to guide itself in the water. Humans don't use their appendix anymore, because we changed out eating habits over eons. Rabbits still use their appendix because of the food they eat.

The Ostrich is a very unique bird. Because of the environment that they live in Jesus, the Creator , give them wings. Having wings does not mean you should always be able to fly. The ostrich wings are used for courtship, protection of their chicks, etc. Jesus created the ostrich after its kind. And Yes Jesus is the Creator. Colossians 1:15
