My grandfather did this because he was obese and lazy. It wasn't a beep, he would lean on the horn of his Sedan De Ville and wake the dead. Well, he is dead and doesn't do this anymore.
-
I absolutely HATE that. Especially since the driveways in my neighborhood are only 15 feet long. Then if the people don't come out "fast enough" these jacka$$es start laying on the horn! I swear... one day somone's gonna get shot!
-
I cant stand it. Its like they dont care about you enough to walk the few feet to your door, instead they summon you.
-
very much, and i let them know.
-
Yes ! That is very rude. I have to wonder if folks like that were raised in a barnyard.
-
It bothers me a little bit, but it made my mother pretty upset. She used to say "Nobody here is called beep-beep"! every time she heard that kind of "calling".
-
omg...thats is one thing that I hate. especially late at night and especially when they have a cell phone which they can easily call you on.
-
I can't stand it. I know one person that does this all the time, he's a dumb, lazy, lard-ass loser.
-
No one does that to me; however, my neighbors clearly feel that the doorstep is made of lava and that honking out paragraphs in morse code is the only way to communicate.
-
no. My house is a mess and I don't want anyone coming to the door! Also my dogs bark and drive me nuts so I prefer the 'honk' method by far.
-
I think tooting for someone is rude, especially in a close neighborhood. My niece drives by out here in the country and she beeps to say hi! as she blasts by. That's okay because nobody but family lives up here. Using the horn just gets negative attention. I don't need that.
-
Oh yes! I won't even look out the window to see who the idiot is doing it!
