  • Of course. It may take a while after his intial surgery, but it will happen again.
  • I'd like to add a little to the previous answer. A couple critical factors come in to play here The normal procedure involves can involve a considerable bit of nerve damage.. if the wrong nerves are damaged, there is a chance for long term "disablility". Second whether or not the man is sexually active can influence recovery. Well used neural pathways are more likely to recover from all but the worst mechanical damage.
  • I'm answering from personal experience and in most cases the answer is NO, but it depends on the surgery method used to remove your prostate. If your prostate is cancerous and removed by traditional surgery the nerves connected to it will be severed and these nerves send the signal to your penis to get hard. You will still produce sperm, but the sperm duct is severed as well and re-routed else where. If you have the new "nerve saving" surgery, then it's possible that some of the nerves could be saved and maybe later on you could achieve a normal erection, but I'm not sure about being able to cum. If I had to say for sure about being able to cum again after this new surgery I would have to say NO to ever cuming again as before. It's taken a couple of years for me to be able to achieve any thing that could even be considered a erection and will never be hard enough for penetration. My wife enjoys the strap-on we bought to use on her and I've gotten more oral sex from her in the past four(4) years, than all the other years we've been married combined. The oral feels great and she actually enjoys it to the point that she can make herself orgasm while doing me. I have a pump that will make me a few inches long for a short time before I have to use it again, but lately it's been staying harder for a longer period of time and allowing more pleasure for both of us. I can once again cum, but not producing any cum to squirt out is a weird feeling, especially after doing it all these years. I'm alive, free of cancer and enjoying some of the best sex in my life after losing my hard-on...I hope this helped.
