If you use duogesic pain patches,such as 'fentanyl' do you notice a distinctive smell associated with there use?

    I use these patches and I notice an odor, I am assuming it's either the alcohol or fentanyl that I smell. I have used a few different brands and not all of them put off an odor.

    My mother used the fentanyl patches and I changed it every three days but no I never notice any type of odor.
