  • mortgage banker (one of the GOOD ONES!) I like helping people understand what they are getting themselves into and how to get out of debt. It is nice to show people what they are doing to themselves by using credit and how much things they buy on credit really changes their lives... 95% of people do not realize that they should get out of debt and pay off their house early or even that they can do that and HOW TO DO IT... . Do not tell me about tax breaks... I will be glad to personally give you 1 and a half times what the government give you... take me up on it... you give me a dollar and I give you back 45 cents... that is better than you giving the bank a dollar and the government giving you back 30 cents as a tax break... . But I do like what I do and I still have plenty of business all through referrals... I am sorry for the way some mortgage people took advantage of people over the last 5 years and HOPE THAT YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THE UNLUCKY ones that followed blindly... I have friends that I did not do loans for because I thought they were doing the wrong thing. many have come back to me for help now and I can not help them. . I hope I have made you think about your finances ... just a little.
