How many times can you re-use a plastic water bottle and not risk getting sick off some bacteria that might be lurking in it?

I would think you could do it an infinite number of times, IF, you periodically rinse it out adding just a scooch of bleach, and rinse that out really well.

Thin plastic water bottles tend to attract more bacteria. It might be used up to 20-30 times, but I would suggest no more than 30 times. I would find a strong plastic water bottle, one you could wash in a dish washer (if you have one) and wash it weekly, or at least every other week. Strong bottles like that cost only about $5-$10 depending on where you get it and how strong it is. It is well worth the investment if you do buy one.
