The best way I have found are cap stretchers which are designed to enclose the cap in the bars and be used in the dishwasher or washing machine. I have seen plastic holders that clip around the bill of a baseball cap to hold its shape in the laundry. I don't recal where so I can't help you find them but I do know they exist. I hope this helps.

My boyfriend used to play college baseball. I just put his baseball cap on the top rack in the dishwasher, and did not run the drying cycle. The home hats were white, and his always looked spotless.

thats immpossible what i did was because i have a steam washer and dryer and a special rack so you can wash shoes with it I just put my sons dirty ball caps and wash them with steam and rack( one that opens on the front) HOPE I HELPED
