Does anyone on AB fly for free because their parent(s) work for the airlines? If so, which airline(s)? How does it work for your airlines because American is free for coach and I've "heard" that United is not free on coach.

Airlines have different tiers of cost for their employees. On United depending on the boarding priority for space available travelers coach can be free. First class and business class (if there is room) can be flown with a service charge. A round trip first class ticket Denver-New York space available for an employee costs roughly around $150. That is super cheap if you think that a regular passenger pays upwards a couple of thousand bucks! Most airline employee travel benefits are competitive with each other. It is still a great benefit if you can get on a flight. But with capacity cuts it becomes more difficult to travel that way.
